My journey started fifteen years ago as a small-town newspaper reporter. On my first day, they handed me a camera and said, “You’re your own photographer. Good luck!” Seeing my name under a photo on the front page was a rush, but it taught me something much deeper: the power of a single image to tell a story that matters.

I spent years mastering light, timing, and technical skill, but my real "Aha!" moment came when I realized that being a great photographer isn't just about the equipment—it's about the connection. I know how it feels to be on the other side of the lens, which is why I’ve dedicated myself to creating a relaxed, "least awkward" experience for you.

For a long time, I operated as a digital file photographer, but I eventually realized I wasn't truly serving my clients. I was handing over a link and adding "print photos" to their already overflowing to-do lists. Those memories stayed trapped on phones or resulted in poor-quality prints from the corner drugstore that didn't do their families justice.

I decided to change that.

Today, I provide a full-service boutique experience. I handle everything—from the technical details like color correction and archival papers to the heavy lifting of professional framing and design. I don't want you to have "files"; I want you to have tangible pieces of art that empower your children and weave a sense of belonging throughout your home.

Whether it’s the way your son’s baby teeth look when he giggles or that fleeting, sassy pre-teen smile, these moments are your family’s "front page news."
